1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using Asgard Learn (the “Platform”), operated by Asgard World Ltd, a company registered in England and Wales, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service (“Terms”). If you do not agree to these Terms, you must not use the Platform.

If you are under 18 years of age, your parent or legal guardian must agree to these Terms on your behalf before you use the Platform. If you are under 13, a parent or guardian must create and supervise your account.

2. Service Description and AI Disclaimer

Asgard Learn is an AI-powered tutoring platform that provides personalised educational support across multiple subjects and curricula. The Platform uses artificial intelligence to deliver interactive lessons, practice exercises, voice-based tutoring, and progress tracking.

The AI tutor is a supplementary educational tool. It is not a replacement for qualified human teachers, formal schooling, or professional academic advice. While we work to make AI responses accurate and helpful, they can contain errors. You should not rely on AI-generated content as your sole source of information for important academic decisions, examinations, or professional qualifications. Always cross-reference with official materials and consult qualified educators where appropriate.

3. Account Registration and Age Requirements

To use certain features of the Platform, you must register for an account. You agree to provide accurate, current, and complete information during registration and to keep your account details up to date.

The Platform is available to users aged 7 and above. Users under 13 require verified parental or guardian consent before an account can be created. We encourage all users under 18 to use the Platform with parental oversight. Parents and guardians are responsible for supervising the use of accounts held by children under their care.

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials. You must not share your account with others or allow others to access the Platform through your account. You agree to notify us immediately of any unauthorised use.

4. Aureus Points System

The Platform includes a virtual reward system called “Aureus” (also referred to as “Aureus Points”). Aureus is a motivational tool designed to encourage learning engagement. The following terms apply to the Aureus system:

Aureus is a virtual currency with no monetary value whatsoever. Aureus points cannot be purchased, sold, traded, exchanged, or transferred between accounts. They cannot be redeemed for cash, credit, or any form of monetary compensation.

Aureus points are earned through completing learning activities on the Platform, including but not limited to finishing lessons, answering questions correctly, maintaining study streaks, and achieving learning milestones.

Asgard World Ltd reserves the right to modify, adjust, or recalculate the value and earning rates of Aureus points at any time without prior notice. This includes changes to how many points are awarded for specific activities.

In cases of suspected abuse, exploitation of bugs, or violation of these Terms, Asgard World Ltd reserves the right to reset, reduce, or remove Aureus points from any account without compensation.

Leaderboard rankings based on Aureus points are provided for motivational and entertainment purposes only. No prizes, rewards, or tangible benefits are guaranteed based on Aureus balance or leaderboard position unless explicitly stated in a specific, time-limited promotional campaign with its own separate terms.

Aureus points have no value outside the Platform and confer no rights, entitlements, or ownership interests of any kind. Your Aureus balance may be set to zero upon account termination.

5. User Content and AI Interactions

When you interact with the Platform, including through voice and text conversations with our AI tutors, you may generate content (“User Content”). You retain ownership of any original content you create, but you grant Asgard World Ltd a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free licence to use, store, and process your User Content for the purpose of providing and improving the Platform.

AI-generated responses are provided for educational purposes. While we strive for accuracy, AI responses may occasionally contain errors. The Platform should not be relied upon as the sole source of information for critical academic decisions such as examination preparation without cross-referencing other materials.

Session transcripts and interaction data may be stored and analysed to improve the quality of the service. For details on how this data is handled, please refer to our Privacy Policy.

6. Intellectual Property

All content, features, and functionality of the Platform, including but not limited to text, graphics, logos, icons, software, AI models, curricula, lesson structures, and the Aureus system design, are the exclusive property of Asgard World Ltd or its licensors and are protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws.

You may not reproduce, distribute, modify, create derivative works from, publicly display, or otherwise exploit any Platform content without prior written consent from Asgard World Ltd, except for personal educational use as intended by the Platform.

7. Acceptable Use

You agree to use the Platform in accordance with our Acceptable Use Policy, which forms part of these Terms. You must not use the Platform for any unlawful purpose, to harass or harm others, to attempt to compromise the security or integrity of the Platform, or to engage in any activity that interferes with other users' experience.

8. Payment Terms

Certain features of the Platform require a paid subscription. All prices are displayed at the point of purchase and are inclusive of applicable taxes unless otherwise stated. Subscriptions are billed on a recurring basis (monthly or annually) depending on the plan you select.

Payments are processed securely by Stripe. We do not store your full payment card details on our servers. Stripe handles all payment card data and is PCI DSS compliant. By making a purchase, you also agree to Stripe's terms of service.

You may cancel your subscription at any time. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period, and you will retain access to paid features until that date. Refunds are not provided for partial billing periods unless required by applicable law.

We reserve the right to change subscription prices with 30 days' notice. If you do not agree to a price change, you may cancel your subscription before the new price takes effect.

9. Data Handling and GDPR

We collect and process personal data in accordance with the UK General Data Protection Regulation (UK GDPR) and the Data Protection Act 2018. Full details of what we collect, how we use it, and who we share it with are set out in our Privacy Policy.

Under the UK GDPR, you have the right to access, rectify, and delete your personal data. You also have the right to data portability and the right to object to certain types of processing. To exercise any of these rights, contact us at legal@asgard.world.

For users under 13, we apply data minimisation principles and require parental consent before processing personal data. Parents can review, modify, or request deletion of their child's data at any time.

10. Termination

You may terminate your account at any time by contacting us or using the account deletion feature in your settings. Asgard World Ltd may suspend or terminate your account if you breach these Terms, engage in conduct harmful to other users or the Platform, or if we are required to do so by law.

Upon termination, your right to use the Platform ceases immediately. We may retain certain data as required by law or for legitimate business purposes, as described in our Privacy Policy. Aureus points and all associated benefits are forfeited upon termination.

11. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Asgard World Ltd shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including but not limited to loss of data, loss of educational progress, or interruption of service.

The Platform is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis. We do not warrant that the Platform will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of harmful components. Our total liability to you for any claim arising from your use of the Platform shall not exceed the amount you have paid to us in the 12 months preceding the claim.

Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud, or any other liability that cannot be excluded by law.

12. Governing Law and Disputes

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes arising from or in connection with these Terms or your use of the Platform shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.

If any provision of these Terms is found to be unenforceable, the remaining provisions shall continue in full force and effect.

13. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. When we make material changes, we will notify you by email or through a prominent notice on the Platform. Your continued use of the Platform after such changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

We encourage you to review these Terms periodically. The “Last updated” date at the top of this page indicates when these Terms were last revised.
